  Maria Teresa’s apartment was the nicest and most beautifully located of all the places we stayed in Sicily. We have not encountered a more delightful, helpful and accommodating host in our AirBnB history, Maria Teresa was absolutely amazing! Should also mention this was the largest/most spacious accommodation on our entire Italy trip. We especially appreciated the in house espresso maker, two full bathrooms, and so many other thoughtful touches throughout the space. The island of Ortigia is rich with history, culture, restaurants and nightlife…and all easily walkable from the apartment perched on the channel with such a glorious view from the living room any time of day! Grazie mille Maria Teresa!

  What an awesome apartment in Ortigia. It looks exactly like the posted pictures. The location is perfect and has amazing sunset view off the balcony.

Check in was flawless and apartment was spotless and had everything we needed.

  Terrific! Everything was clean, bed and couch were comfortable, patio was small but big enough to sit out and have coffee and watch the boats. We cooked shrimp we got at the market (highly recommend!) and kitchen was well equipped. The elevator was good for getting the luggage into the apartment. Parking was easy at the paid parking lot. We downloaded the parking ap and parked Talete Parking (lungomare di Levante Elio Vittorini) Lot. Lots of spaces..but it was March.

I can't say enough good things about Maria Teresa. I asked her advice about several things while planning out trip to Sicily and she was always generous with her insight. She met us at the apartment and lots of recommendations (all printed out). She recommended a pizza place that was terrific.

Stay here if you can.

  I think this was the best AirBnB I’ve stayed in to date. Impeccably clean, incredible location, beautifully decorated, great communication, but most of all Maria Teresa has made it such a welcoming space and has really anticipated anything a traveler could need: tons of solid recommendations, helpful signage all over the apartment, things like first aid kits and clothespins and ice cubes and cookies. If we ever make it back we’d stay here again, and we’ll definitely recommend it to friends.

  Marie is a top notch Airbnb host. Her unit was strikingly clean. Beautiful views from balcony. In a very walkable area plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.

  One of our all time favorite AirBnB stays! Really beautifully designed apartment in beautiful surroundings. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were gorgeous, and the living area was really nice to relax in after long days. We also used the kitchen and found it extremely well-stocked. Great location - it was nice to be up at the top of Ortigia, easy to get to all the main sights in Ortigia but also not a long walk up to things on the mainland. Maria Teresa was easy to communicate with, flexible when we ended up arriving before check-in time unexpectedly, and responsive. Overall just a wonderful place, highly recommended!!

  The loft was beautiful (clean and a very curated aesthetic) and in a perfect location with nice views from the juliet balcony. Maria Teresa was an amazing host from the moment we booked thru our arrival and stay….she is essentially a virtual tour guide and her knowledge of Syracusa/Ortigia and dedication to providing an enjoyable visit for her guests is impressive. She was very informative: providing a detailed overview of parking options, sharing her picks for food, drinks, not-to-be-missed areas and current shows/exhibits. We appreciated the welcome cookies and well stocked coffee bar as well as the updated bathrooms with great amenities/showers. Would highly recommend and certainly stay here again.
